About Louise...
Louise first taught in an Outer-London Primary School, beginning in Year 5 and progressing onto Year 6. Moving to Warwickshire, and into secondary education, she was employed as an Additional Needs teacher in an ‘outstanding’ school in North Gloucestershire. She worked for nine years specialising in the support of individuals and groups of students who needed help to overcome their social, emotional and academic barriers to learning.
Returning to Primary education six years ago, Louse continued to work in Key Stage 2 and completed the latest ‘Read, Write, Inc.’ training to teach reading to early years. In addition to her role in a local Primary School, she began to tutor both international and UK based children online. Working one to one in this way helped ensure each session could be tailored to a child's individual needs. Given the demand, her tutoring has developed and specialised to include preparing Year 4 and Year 5 students to take the demanding 11+ assessments at the start of Year 6.
The 11+ examination consists of four distinct parts covering English and mathematics, as well as verbal and non-verbal reasoning. By signing up for her tutoring sessions, children will be supported to gain an understanding and experience of tackling all four elements.
In short, she has built up a wide range of skills and experience to support a range of educational needs both in person and online.

Also, KS2 Children (age 7-11) who would benefit from additional support with their English and maths.
I offer a range of tutoring options; working from home I deliver both one-to-one and small group sessions. I am also able to provide on-line tutoring on a one-to-one basis.
The first one hour introductory session is free. From this, a block of 5 or 10 sessions can be pre-booked and paid for.
Sessions typically run from 4:00 pm - 5.00 pm and 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
The GL 11+ examination consists of four different and demanding assessments which test verbal and non-verbal reasoning, as well as skills in English and mathematics.
The tutoring sessions will help your child become familiar with the four assessments and how to approach them.
Tutoring sessions which focus on core English and mathematics skills, not only strengthen academic success, also help develop resilience and a child's self-confidence.
